HUNGARY
Since the fall of Communism in the early 1990s, OMS has maintained a presence in Hungary, focusing on English ministries as a way to share the Gospel. Now, though English ministries are still something they do, the Hungary team has shifted its focus to three core areas: disciple-making, community impact, and social entrepreneurship. Passionate about seeing lives transformed, they come alongside churches as a resource and support as they emphasize discipleship and disciple-making in their congregations and reach out into their communities. Through social entrepreneurship, the OMS Hungary team hopes to create sustainability for ministry by establishing businesses that positively impact the community and generate income for continuing ministry.
